The BARC SEC Annual Dinner Dance and Awards Presentation Evening took place on Saturday 23rd January at the Village Hotel, just off the M20 in Maidstone, Kent.

This annual award dinner and dance is one of the most popular events of the year with competitors from all over the country attending.

Specifically organised to present the 2009 Champions with their awards, to congratulate the other Competitors, thank the marshals for their hard work throughout the year and for the enjoyment of BARC Members, Sponsors and Enthusiasts alike, this year's night out turned out to be the social event of the year.

This year saw Chappell Racing scoop a number of awards including Sports Personality of the Year for team Principal Gary Chappell and Hero of the Year Award for Dave Clark. As well as these two awards 2nd and 3rd place championship trophies were award to Gary and Dave respectively.
